Smart Power Control Technology is a solution to add enough power supply on USB 3.1 cards. The old version USB host controller card need to install additional power cable. The Smart Power Control Technology designed 2X voltage transformer to pick up power from mother board PCIE slot, convert 12V power to 5V and allocate 5V/3A to each USB 3.1 Port. Meanwhile, Smart Power Control Technology equipped 3X fuse and 2X solid capacitor to protect connected USB 3.1 device from overload, overcurrent or overheat. Make sure connected USB 3.1 device running in high performance without any power cable installation.

3. PCIE 1.0 X4, X8, X16 slot provides speed 5Gbps bandwidth. So, users better put it on PCIE 3.0/4.0 slot to hit the peak speed 10Gbps.
